No Resolutions!

It’s been a hugely busy December but then I wasn’t expecting it to be anything less than a month  crammed full of additional errands! The climax of the month was of course Christmas Day which was spent enjoying a very nice turkey lunch with family – I would happily sacrifice every present for good food with good friends and family, I love it! So to say I had no time to focus on my goal is an understatement, however, I did manage a teeny tiny step in the right direction…

Teeny Tiny Step 1 – Making contact with someone who might be able to help me get the permission I need to erect the building I want to house one part of my dreams!

Although this is all I’ve done and no answer has come back yet as to whether my building will be remotely possible, I am happy that I have done something, and, being relieved of all my Christmas duties, I can now spend my free time focussing on the dream again….or so I thought.

I went into work yesterday to be told that I had a choice of being out of work in two weeks or taking on a new contract of work which would use up all 5 days of the week instead of just 4! With the increased £ signs beckoning as opposed to being wiped out altogether I chose the 5 days – who wouldn’t! So where does this leave me and my pursuit of my dreams?

Well I’ve made a commitment and my dream still feels just as good as it did last year, the only difference now is that I have less time to spend on making it real than I thought I would have. But if I can achieve a teeny tiny step with no time at all as I have done last month, surely I can achieve more of them with the little bit of time I will have!?

So, no new year resolutions for me - no time for them - just a continued commitment to achieving another step towards my dream, however small it may be. Meantime may I wish you success in achieving any new year resolutions you might be making for yourself!
